In a thrilling face-off in the sunny Saturday afternoon, MSC Mavens clashed with current table leaders Sliders H.C in a nail-biting field hockey match. The game was marked by intense action and fierce determination from both sides.
The two teams had a tete-a-tete in the first half, before Vikings’ Charity Miller broke the deadlock through a penalty corner conceeded by the Mavens in the 34th minute. Exceptional skills and battles were dotted across the game, that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.
Despite their commendable efforts, MSC Mavens succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat by Sliders.

On a chilly Sunday Nairobi Morning, MSC Mavens geared up for yet another encounter, this time against Kisumu Queens who were logged 3rd in the SLW Standings. The match turned out to be an epic showdown, with both teams fighting tooth and nail for victory.
MSC Mavens having lost technically to the Sliders H.C the previous day, had to be on song as they pushed for a crucial 3 pts against their direct challengers. Prowess on the field, executing flawless passes, breathtaking dribbles, and precise shots at goal, but the Kisumu Queens defence was astute, and so was the Mavens defence.
The spectators witnessed a gripping battle between two equally matched teams. With the game seemingly going to end on a stalemate, Kisumu Queens conceeded a penalty corner in the 56th Minute that was converted by Marygeorgeen S, MSC Mavens and the SLW top scorer to move her tally to 9 goals in 8 matches this season.
