The Orcas, maintained their winning momentum with a commanding 2–0 triumph over Technical University of Kenya (TUK) on Saturday 20th September 2025 at the MSC grounds. The 4 O’clock clash showcased the Orcas’ growing strength.

Onyango, in red-hot form this season, opened the scoring midway through the first half. The goal came after a moment of brilliance from Humphrey, whom having made a run down the left wing was able to make a pull-back and threaded a beautiful slap pass through the TUK defense to set up Onyango at the top of the D for a calm finish to the left of the keeper. The midfielder’s timing and composure highlighted his growing reputation as MSC’s juggernaut in the middle of the park.

The hosts continued to press, with Flavian N, impressing yet again through with his improved ball handling skills on the right wing. His steady progress has been key to MSC’s consistency as seen in his regularity in training sessions, and against TUK he once more dictated play on that flank.

TUK had their moments, but the Orcas’ backline remained solid. The highlight of the defensive effort came from Teddy “Shark” Odada, stepping up from an assist in the previous game to make a goal-line clearence to preserve the clean sheet and brought the home crowd to its feet.

The decisive moment arrived in the second half when MSC earned a penalty corner, following a barrage of them against TUK. Anthony stepped up to push the penalty corner and combined well with Kelvin Ayako for a return pass where Onyango, for an almost imposible angle slide the ball under the TUK Keeper’s feet, executing it to perfection to notch his second of the day and double the Orcas’ lead. The goal not only sealed the result and took his tally to 8 goals in 6 games, underlining his importance to MSC’s performance this season.

“There is an increase in confidence in the team, and belief with every game, we can see different players pushing each other for slots and competition is always welcomed among team mates.” asserted Coach Arika.

“The camp is in good moods and we hope to maintain the momentum over this crucial month of September. We’ve played and won 3 out of 3 matches this month and have two to go. We also need to start scoring early in order to keep teams at bay over a match.” quipped Boaz Otieno

With this 2–0 victory, MSC extended their unbeaten run, powered by Onyango’s brace, Humphrey’s vision, Flavian’s steady rise, and Teddy’s defensive heroics. The Orcas look increasingly formidable on home soil.
